A space you do not want to leave.

NUTS GROEP

4000m2

ASYDWTL believes in sustainability and was able to implement this extensively for the Nuts group. This growing company moved to an old garage in the Reguliersdwarsstraat on which a whole new floor was built. The architect approached the construction in a sustainable way which is also a requirement from the City of Amsterdam. We apply sustainability by using recycled materials and purchasing b-choice furniture, showroom models or refurbished second-hand furniture. The sustainable character is also reflected in the floors where no PVC is used and we have opted for the high-quality, designer carpet that is sustainable.

The old parking garage is converted into an office where the helix of the garage remained intact, stages were added to the helix and now contain a variation of workplaces and meetings rooms. The boardroom and the restaurant are located on the top floor. In the restaurant we used alternating materials and shapes to gain an eclectic feeling. The placed table tennis table also serves as a lunch table.

On the second and third floor, where call centers are located, we designed the spaces light through the use of soft colors. The spaces are separated by 160 cm high screens that have a dividing and acoustic function.

Parking lines are incorporated into the carpet which indicate the various departments. The use of a bright green color on the third floor emphasizes the brand identity of one of the labels of the Nutsgroep.
The open booths, which can be found on every level, are designed in a deeper colour on the second and fourth floors to create more depth.
IT, Human Resources, Legal and Finance are located on the fourth floor. Like the other two departments, the same layout is applied here as well, but work areas are more protected by half-height walls and glass walls.

The helix that returns on every floor, serves various functions such as work, meetings & relaxation. These stages are executed in various deep colors. These deep colors emphasize the depth of the department even more and optimize the sense of orientation within this large building.
For the floors we chose a light look with a Scandi touch. By combining colorful and more toned down colours, carpet, warm cozy seats and distinct choices in furniture, the office embraces  a contemporary ambience with a touch of the homely atmosphere of the 50’s.

By taking into account the view, which are now all open, you have a view on the city center.
